Gigi & Ninny Co was established in 2025 in Machias, Maine, by two friends who had been working together to open 103 Main — a gift shop designed to be a space where there's something for everyone. When the shop opened, the most popular section immediately became clear: baby and kids' apparel. Parents and grandparents kept gravitating toward it. Kids lit up at the prints.

That was all the confirmation they needed.

The name came naturally. With homes full of kids and grandkids who refer to them as "Gigi" and "Ninny," the brand became a direct expression of who they are and why they started. These aren't just pajamas — they're a love letter to the children in their lives and to Maine itself.
