Papa’s Shingle Mill

Originally built by my children’s “Papa” and his father, Papa’s Shingle Mill has been a place where so many hours of work are put in along with some play! Papa saws and bundles cedar shingles at his mill to then be bought for building projects. Gigi’s kids have all joined him at work to see first hand what the process looks like! The mill isn’t just a location for work, though. The kids have also spent time in the blueberry fields picking berries for their grandmother to make them a cake, gone fishing in a pond on site, gone for rides up and down the long winding road, and so much more. We love the mill but most of all we love the memories that come with it!
